Use of DSP core from Linux Os running in ARM?

Hi Srikanta,
You can use rpe(remote processor execute) framework to access DSP for processing from Linux.
If you have latest ezsdk installed, refer rpe_1_00_01_13 . This uses Linux application to use audio decoders like mp3 , aac etc running on DSP.

for this your DSP algorithm needs to be xdais/xdm compliant.

Sir I want to implement target detection algorithm on DSP core (DM8168) in Linux platform. It will be very helpful if you provide some more information regarding the implementation of DSP algorithm  by using rpe. Actually I am using first time DSP core from LInux platform, so I want some step by step procedure to write DSP algorithm (if possible).

XDM interface is mainly for audio/image/video type of algorithms, so for your target detect algorithm, you may extend xDIAS to your own interface.

The link that you given for Porting GPP code to DSP, uses some lower version of CCS. I am using CCS 5.4. Could you give me some link which can illustrate with CCS 5.4 or similar version, for porting GPP code to DSP??
