We would like to understand what happens in the below scenario:
1. The VPDMA width limit is set to 'unlimited' and height is set to say 288 lines for PAL capture in pixel multiplexed capture mode of VIP in DM8168.
2. Video port is capturing data and it gets a long line indefinitely after the time of disconnect. (We can assume that the long line could be in the active region as disconnect has happened at the middle of the active line i.e. after SAV and no EAV occurs for an infinitely long time).
In this case, will the video buffers get corrupted vertically and go on to corrupt the code memory and possibly hang the system even if height limit in VPDMA is set? Please help us to understand the hardware VPDMA behavior in this case.
