Hi,

The video on wiki states that the output of the face detect demo can be viewed on VGA output, but the code for the face detect demo talks about raster lcd. can anyone please tell me is it VGa output for face detect demo or raster lcd in omapl138 lcdk?

Hi Abdul,

You will be able to run the face detect demo using LCD monitor which has VGA support.

Abdul,

OMAL138/C6748 development kit have the video capture and display.
It has video input and output connectors through composite camera and VGA port respectively.
In facedetect demo have the display configuration as raster mode to VGA port(display).
Please kindly get the details of raster mode display from the below wiki page,

Raster mode supporting display devices are PC monitors, TVs and projectors.
However those above display device will be support the VGA port.

Hello!

I am interested in displaying frames captured from a camera sensor .

In case, I want to use the vga port,from the above mentioned, I understand that I could use the existing configuration (raster configuration) for the LCDC controller from vpif_loopback demo but add configuration concerning the THS8135 DAC and the I2C Voltage converter.Is that right?

I use OMAPL138-LCDK along with StarterWare.
