Driver/configuration to use I2C device as a slave receive and slave transmit

we are using two I2C device ( Atmel micro controller and TI c674x DSP) and want to use TI C674x DSP

as a slave to transmit data and as a slave to receive data. I am looking for example/driver how to

configure I2C peripheral to use I2C device as slave transmit and slave receive. I am new in I2C communication area and will appreciate your help and support.
