Creating BIOS DSK6713 with CCSv6

Hi all,

I already work with ccs5 with dsk6713 now I purchased CCS6 licences trying to work with real time projects  withdsk6713 same procedure followed  download DSP bios 5 version and installed. After building the project I got this error I attached for your reference

    Thanks for your post.

    Which TI example project you were trying to run when you get this error?

    Are you using TI released BSL/CSL package? If so, which TI package and which version?

    Did you check the product release notes to check any limitation or dependencies while you use CCSv6? Kindly validate whether you could use CCSv6 to build the mentioned project above and also check the dependency software package components and its minimum version to use.

    Are you using any library linked in file search path of project properties? If so, please validate the library path in linker file search path option of project build properties?

    I guess, based on the error mentioned in screenshot, there is a mess up in bios configuration file with CCSv6 and this is what my understanding is? First you validate whether you could use CCSv6 for the project you build and if so, check any recommendation involved in migrating a project from CCSv5 to CCSv6.

    Hi Naveen,
    In my understanding, I presume that you are using DSP/BIOS based application with *.cfg configuration file which is required and usable only in SYS/BIOS based application.
    You have to use *.tcf file for DSP/BIOS based application.
    So please make sure that.

    processors.wiki.ti.com/.../BIOS
    processors.wiki.ti.com/.../BIOS_CCS6_Migration_Guide
    processors.wiki.ti.com/.../BIOS_CCS6_Migration_Guide
