McASP on J6

Hello all,

I am working on the McASP on J6 with Linux. Currently I have a input audio frequency(I2S) on the McASP at 48khz sampling frequency, and I want it to support the 44.1kHz frequency also. I would want to know, will the McASP support sampling frequency of 48kHz and 44.1khz. Or will i support singular frequency? Or it wont support 44.1kHz?

MCASP should support both 48 kHz & 44.1 kHz sampling frequencies.

Hello Yordan ,
I am using McASP to caputre and playback to a audio jack output. I am getting the disortions/ static on my output, is there a loopback test in linux that I can run to confirm the same.
Also, If they support both then, can you point out in the BSP, where is will done ?

Sampling rate and format of the I2S data with which codec is fed is determined in the codec driver (located in sound/soc/codecs).
