How to write dts for fpd link iii, to drive a external lcd display?

I need to use a fpd link III cabe to transfer display data to a lcd monitor. but Im not sure how should I build the dss connection via device tree blocks.

And I have read the DSS development guide article(http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Linux_Core_DSS_User's_Guide) and fond some hints about it. With the guild, it says "Add the following line to dra7-evm.dts and dra7xx-evm-lcd10.dtsi (or dra7x-evm-lcd-osd.dtsi)", but I can not get neither of the two dtsi file.

So, how should I write the device tree block? Where can I get the one of the two dtsi file?

I am sorry that I can not clone project code from the repertory. And:

1) should I write a extra lcd driver for that?

2) In the dts, I should follow some example, and a dpi port into DSS block and add a lcd block who will refer that dpi_out dt item?

What do you mean you cannot clone project code? You should be able to see the additions/removals in the patch set clearly, just have to click on the Files section in the web site:

You do not have to write an extra lcd driver.

Thanks for your reply. I also checked out the dts blocks about disp_ser: serializer@1b and lcd3. But, from the dts, it seems it should control backlight via a tlc59108 IC on the remote lcd monitor, and it have to use i2c(addressed 0x1c) bus to access or control the IC, right? And, for me, I do not know the the remote LED controller address, so, I just make the backlight light always by hard connection depend VCC3.3. In another word, how should I do it without such IC? It does not work for me, now.

I have resolve all the things about the dts topic. But, it seems there is not data transfered into the lcd monitor, although the I2C channel is ok. Im not sure how to check the problem is, or how to check the transfered data is correct?
