Tool/software: Linux
From my understanding, the AM5728 SD port can connect hardware-wise to an SDXC device. But we do not have drivers for exFAT support to get the higher capacity. Is that correct so far?
The DM385 claimed SDXC support at SDHC speeds in the datasheet. That would likely mean that we did have support for exFAT in the Linux supported for the DM385. Can that driver source be accessed from any of our online git hubs or other site? If yes, then the customer could try to port that to the AM5728.
Ittiam states that they have support for SDXC on their AM5728 SoM called Clove. Do you know if they did the driver development themselves or did they get something from TI that is available publicly?
The bottom line is that we need to find a way to support SDXC, even if only running at SDHC speeds, on the AM5728.
Thank you for your help.
