Linux/AM3359: AM3359 UART H/W Flow control

Dear all,

We are using DMA supported UART driver.

I met problem which DMA supported UART did not support H/W flow control.

Is there anyway to solved the problem(Enable H/W flow control).

linux version: 4.1.18

SDK version: 02.00.02.11

UART supports hardware and software flow control. You can find description about how to enable/disable hardware flow control in the AM335x TRM section 19.3.8.1.3.2 Hardware Flow Control at:

Junho,

I would like to add that you can enable hardware flow control by setting UPF_HARD_FLOW flag. Check serial_omap_config_port function in ./linux/drivers/tty/serial/omap-serial.c file.
