Does DM816x support AVS standard of China?

According to TMS320DM816x DaVinci Digital Media Processors Technical Reference Manual, DM8168x support AVS 1.0 Encode and Decode. When will this codec works?

As mentioned in TRM DM816x supports AVS Encode and Decode, but as of now TI doesn't have any plans of writing AVS codec software. TI 3rd party partners may be approached to satisfy this specific need
