I work on TI AM335x platform, the tools's version are as below.

I use SPI example in starterware directory to test SPI interface and I have a question.
Below is the register setting of SPI0.
Below is the time information between two byte.
My question is why the time between two byte is so long?
It takes about 12 us.
Please give me some suggestion.
