Some questions before updating API V1 to V2

Hey TI-Support,

I have a question regarding the new API Interface V2.

- Currently, we are using V1 in our software tool, will this be still usable in the future or is this deprecated and will be shut down?

- We know the credential request process for the TI API V1, will this change in V2? What does the key request process look like?

- Will credentials for V1 also work with V2?

Thanks for the inquiries! Below are answers to your questions. Please let us know if we can assist further.

v1 APIs will continue to be supported until June 2023. We encourage you to migrate to v2 APIs as soon as possible. To learn more about these new API features, take a look at API overview page or check out the API documentation page.
The process to request credentials for v2 APIs has changed. You must create a company account in order to have access to the v2 APIs. Click on the Get Started link to create a company account. We also suggest you reference Ordering Resources for more information regarding changes and the ordering process.
No, v1 credentials will not work with v2 APIs . The credentials are unique to the APIs they were created for.
