TI-API: V1

   ThanksBlush

  • Hello,

Below are answers to your questions:

    1.  For v1 APIs, respectively 1,500 calls per day  (Sandbox = 1,500 calls/day;   Production = 1,500 calls/day)

    2.  For v2 APIs:

    1. For an *Orderable Part Number (OPN) - as many times as you want
    2. List the Generic Part Number (GPN) - as many times as you want
    3. For the entire **catalog
      1. Total 6 API calls in a day
      2. 1 API call every 4 hour

    Important:

      * To automatically receive updates on stock ups for Orderable Part Number (OPN), we encourage the use of the subscription notification APIs (https://api-portal.ti.com/inventory-subscription-push-api).  Subscriptions provide you with the ability to create and delete OPN notifications and control the frequency and timing in which the notifications are sent, based on the quantity you requested.

** Catalog API calls are discouraged as processing time can be long.

    3. The cross-reference search is independent of the APIs.   The number of parts allowed to upload is stated on the web (as shown in the picture you sent).   In order to use the cross-reference search or API ordering, you must have a registered myTI company account.  You can create one here

    4.  API call limits are the same for all customers.

Please let me know if you have other questions or need more information.

  • Thanks.Dear Faye Rainey.

  • Hi Weicheng Wang,

Hopefully the below responses will address your questions:

1:  "...entire catalog" is defined as the full list of orderable parts available to purchase from the TI store.

    2.  To get the catalog listing go to the Inventory and pricing API page and select the /store/products/catalog API.

    3.  Our v2 APIs do not allow uploading of a file for retrievals;   I will pass your suggestion to our development team.   Not all of the listed APIs will allow unlimited calls.  The APIs that will allow unlimited "part number" retrieval are: Inventory and  pricing, and the Inventory subscription APIs.

    5.  I don't have a  "# of calls per second" for you, but, TI is always proactively looking for BOT-like behavior, so, be careful not to mimic this behavior.

Let me know if you have additional questions or if I didn't respond to everything.

    Faye
