Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TI-API

Hello,

We already set up API account and approved and it shows all ready.

But may I know how to start the order?

When I log into my API account it said below and no further instruction or option to go to API order,

One or more company accounts already exist for your company. Please review the accounts below and determine whether you should join an existing account or create a new account.

Create new account
Please advise.
thanks.

  • Hi Wayne,

not sure you saw this response just following up, my response was lower in the Thread seems Imay have replied to Leonard 2 days back, so want to make sure you saw this.

Currently two checkout profiles exist for your company account, you would need to ask your admin which account should be used or if you should create a new checkout profile under your company account.

If you will go to this link https://api-portal.ti.com/store-api-getstarted, it shares what is needed to be able to place an order, walks you through the steps to make sure you have your checkout profile for your company account, etc.  If you go to step 5 Create a test order, it walks you through using your checkout profile, your access key info, to simulate a test order, then  When you are ready to place a production order, review all of the parameters that you would like to send in the request payload and use the URL ".../store/orders". To learn more about test and production ordering, see the Order API Documentation page.

Please see if this helps you in placing a test order or Production Order, if you need more info. please feel free to reach out with your additional questions.

  • Hi Tammy,

Thanks for advice, to ask my admin meaning, my TI admin?

  • Wayne,

I was referring to your Totek company Admin - Totek would have a company id and there is an admin of that company id.

The admin is the one that allows others to be part of the company id with their individual checkout profiles.  The Totek admin can send you a request to be part of the company id once your profile is in place or you can request the admin to allow you to be part of the company id once you have a checkout profile.

Additionally, you can have personal checkout profile to use with ti.com which is not part of a company id for ordering from our ti.com site, but for API Order Suite ordering you need to be part of a company id.

The myTI dashboard you can tell if you are on a personal account or company account by this - personal account does not give you option to change account - a company account will show an option to change account.
