TI-API: Checkout Profile and hidden contact person

Hello,

I created Checkout Profile. I am not listed in the billing or shipping address in this profile. After order with this profile, my name is in orderInfo.orderedBy and information mails about  the order confirmation and the dispatch goes to my email address.

Nowhere in the documentation did we find that it would be possible to specify the contact person for api v2. It looks like the person who created the profile will be used. So the individual buyer has to create their own identical profiles so that their name is used and not the programmer's name?

  • All Orders will list under the Admin of the company account - as the Admin is the approver of who is allowed to place orders on the company account. Even though a company account will have multiple buyers, the understanding is the ADMIN name is what will always be visible as they are the owners and signed contract for  the company profile.

    I will check to see if there is a field or parameter your developers can code or use within your company configuration that may be useful - to  add contact information.

    in the order  json there are a few optional fields that your developer can utilize to pass such information- optional fields highlighted below, endCustomerCompanyName enter in company name or email address could be here it is a string. Then at the item levell - an option to use customerOrderComments " message" this could hold contact name, email address, phone number, buyer name, etc.

  • How do I influence which of our email addresses will be used for automatic order emails with these subjects?

    TI.com order confirmation – order No. T00000000
    TI.com order status update – order No. T00000000
    TI.com shipping confirmation – order No. T00000000

    In Checkout Profile is one email address in the shipping address, another email address is in the billing address. But these emails are sent to my email address that is not listed anywhere in the order. I don't believe the items highlighted in yellow can change that.

  • You are correct, you cannot, it would be informational - unless your admin or programmer when receiving the orders setups a crossreference to parse the info and then send email to your respective  email addresses or a group email  portal for you all to see the orders coming into your company account.

  • Isn't it better to program the settings of the e-mail address where these e-mails should be sent in the edit page of Checkout Profile?

    That way, there would be no need to modify the API interface at all.

    Or at least use e-mail addresses from Shipping address and Billing address.
