TI-API: No Customer Found error

Part Number: TI-API

Hello,

I'm from Precision Planting, and we're working on implementing a connection to the Backlog API. We're currently running into an issue where, when we send a "create" request, we get the following error:

{
Code: "TI-TXT-024"
Message: "No customer found for vendor <customer number>"
Type: "ERROR"
}
We had previously set up a connection to the Store Order API, so we're trying to use the same customer number in these requests. Our connection to the Backlog API was set up using a different user account in the organization, and resulted in us getting different API keys that we use to access the Backlog API. Does that mean that we also have a different customer number that we need to use (for the CustomerSoldToIdentifier and CustomerShipToIdentifier attributes in the Order request) specifically for the Backlog API?
Thank you,
Lukas
  • Hi Lukas,

    I can see that your ship/to was last updated in mid-January.  I'll send you a friend request so that you can show me the shipto and soldto you are trying to use.

    Also know that TI Store operates based on a checkout profile, and bckloperates based on soldto and shippedto, and they have different credentials (keys).  I'll send you a friend request now and you can tell me what you are using for your soldto and shipto.

    Regards,

    Faye

  • Hi Lukas,

    The customer numbers, identifiers, and requirements for using the backlog APIs are different than TI store.  Because backlog APIs also require their own unique key/secret, they check for the proper customer codes as well - so there will not be a match to TI store.    We are moving down the path of  of having some level of integration between these two ordering channels, but, we are not there yet.  For now, you can only use backlog specific codes/numbers with backlog ordering.    Let me know if you need anything else.
