TI-API: Questions about testing quotes and push APIs

We have correctly done the creation and the retrieve of the quote using the Backlog APIs, but we have two questions:

  1. In sandbox environment we can’t get anything else than “Pending” status when retrieving quotes.Quotes in sandbox aren’t processed?
  2. We have some doubts about API push phase. It’s mandatory to use push API or can we use only the retrieve?

    With regards to the Push APIs,  you can complete the testing phase, without having the Push implemented, but, once you are sending production orders, at some point TI is going to mandate that the Push be implemented.  This is needed, so that TI can keep you informed on changes with your orders (example: price changes or shipments).  So, it might be easier to do it now, during testing, rather than once you start sending production orders.
