Backlog create test API is stuck, without response

Part Number:

Hi,

When calling the Backlog create test API, for creating a small test order, there is no result, the api is stuck.

Can you please check the logs urgently, using the API the order was attempted to be created by my user.

Thanks, Lior

  • Lior,

I'll respond on tomorrow.  Sorry for the delay.

    Regards,

    Faye

  • Hi Lior,

    Errors on 3/13:

    1. You indicated "customerAnticipatedUnitPrice\":2.0299999999999998" which is invalid;
      • We returned an error message, asking you correct and resubmit:   "message\: \"customerAnticipatedUnitPrice cannot exceed 15 characters in length. Enter a valid customerAnticipatedUnitPrice up to 15 characters and resubmit request.
    2. You indicated an invalid quantity for a material:  "requestedQuantity does not meet minimum requirements"
      • Update the quantity with the suggested quantity in the error message:  "Invalid requestedQuantity increment is below minimum quantity requirements. Resubmit your request with a quantity of XXX.
      • If you ever need to look up the quantity for a material, use our Material attribute search tool: www.ti.com/.../
    3. You provided an invalid "requestedDeliveryDate" (requestedDeliveryDate\":\"2024-01-25) :  requestedDeliveryDate must be todays date or within 5 years from todays date. Verify and correct the requestedDeliveryDate and resubmit request
      • Update the date to be in the future

I also see that you have had some successful test order submissions.

So, let me know if you have a specific error that you want more information on.

    Regards,

    Faye

  • Hi,

Remove the mandatory part number when asking questions, it is very annoying, it will not allow me to create new posts in the forum, and when entering a test part number it will change the forum name.

When using the get order test api for an existing order that was just created, the API returns for an item the following message: Item is pending manual schedule which may take up to 48 hours. If your item is not scheduled after 48 hours, please contact TI customer support https://support.ti.com/csm

    1) When the Schedule will be approved and confirmation will be send from TI to us?

    2) Is the approval process for test orders is done automatically or some user needs to manually approve it, and if user needs to approve it, can you please approve our order of POLTD2400012?

    Thanks, Lior

  • Lior,

I would suggest clicking on one of these links for the API form:  (English or Chinese (中文).  If you use these links, the only items you'll need to complete are highlighted below.

    Other answers to your questions:

    1)  As stated in the message, you will receive a response within 48 hrs.  Normally, it will be a much shorter timeframe for a response.

    2)  It is automatic, but, just to clarify, what is being reviewed is your requested date for the material.  Our automated system will determine if we can meet your requested date and if not, it will propose a date in which TI can meet.   I cannot circumvent the system.

    Regards,

    Faye
