We are going to use ADS127L21 in our ongoing project. The fastest option for our application is to use the "TI hardware" (Eval board + PHI EVM controller) and to be able to control the ADC from our Windows application. I'm aware of the provided embedded driver source code in C (which is in this setup running on the PHI EVM controller).

Are you by any chance able to provide us (1)a Windows dll (precompiled + possibly the source) which we can load into our Windows application and control the ADC, and (2)the accompanying firmware for the PHI EVM controller? You can likely create such a dll by stripping down the existing Windows Demo application.

Hello Zoran,

Welcome to the TI E2E community.

Unfortunately, we are not able to share the firmware on the PHI controller board; the code is completely different from the example code, not well documented, and does not directly communicate with the ADC (it communicates with the FPGA hardware, which emulates a 'mini' logic analyzer and pattern generator).

We do have an automation controller kit for use with the Labview development environment that we can provide. This will be very similar to the ADS127L18EVM-PDK-DRIVER download that is readily available.

If interested, I can provide the download details for this toolkit.

Hello Zoran,

In order to share this LabVIEW driver package, we need to publish this on the ADS127L21EVM product folder page

This will take a few days to review and get through the software release system. We are targeting this to be available no later than Friday, July 11th. If we are able to get this published sooner, I will let you know.

The driver package has been approved for release, we are just waiting for it to be loaded to TI.com. I expect 1-2 days now, so we should be able to meet the July 11 date that Keith mentioned. We will update you when it is available

Thank you Bryan for delivering the package! We were able to open the project and we'll do more experiments next week when EVAL board will be available. I'll let you know the outcome.

FYI, this L21 delivery package does not include Developer Guide pdf, so we are referring to the instructions in the L18 pdf from dr-download.ti.com/.../Developer_Guide.pdf

When I installed this package from the website, I see the directory structure below. The "developer guide" is there. Is this not what you are seeing?
