Receiving the "product not found" error when using the Pricing API

  • Here are some possible explanations:  

    Scenario #1 Orderable Part Number (OPN) / Part Number  provided to the API was in an incorrect format

    Response:  Confirm that the tiPartNumber format is correct:

    • Provide an Orderable Part Number (OPN) / Part Number, NOT a Generic Part Number (GPN)
    • All Upper Case;  lower case of mixed case will not match!
    • Needs to be URL encoded (special characters should be encoded;  Ex: "/ = %2F", etc..)

    Scenario #2:  404 - Not Found;   

    Response:  This product is not available for purchase at this time and we have no estimate as to when it will be available again.    You can confirm this by going to the TI Store and if "Buy" and "TI.com inventory" has "Not available",  the product is not available for purchase (see attachment below).   We hope you are able to find a comparable product in our store that will meet your needs.
