TI-API: Adding TAX information to checkout profile is not possible

I have created checkout profiles for both, Store and Backlog flows, but i'm not able to select any TAX information to the checkout profiles, option Yes is greyed out, not active.

TAX ID is created.

What can be the reason for that?

  • Hello Siret, depending on the type of checkout profile (TI Store or Backlog), ship to region, and currency the " 3 - Tax Information" step will change and in its behavior. In this case, you have for the TI Store a checkout profile where the ship to region and currency is CN/USD. For this two selections regardless of checkout profile type you will see the " 3 - Tax Information" pre-selected as "No".  

    If you would like to use a tax ID on the checkout Profile for the TI Store, then the currency should be CNY. To do this go to the checkout profile on your dashboard and select "add new" (https://www.ti.com/checkoutprofile/web/checkoutprofiles/). Add your information but select CNY as a currency. Then as you go through the form you will be able  to add your tax ID that was previously saved that matches the region of this profile.
