also could you please confirm why there is low pass filter at the output of fault and overcurrent signals for the top fet and not for the botttom fet, how do i sense these

Hi Bagadi,

The OC pins on the LMG3422EVM-043 do not have any low pass filters:

These components are added on other pins for practical considerations. The RC filter provides a very simple implementation of a low-pass filter intended to filter out any high-frequency noise coupled onto the signals.

HI john,

top switch oc pin after pasing through digital isolator it is having low pass filter ,but there is no lowpass filter for bottom switch could you please explain this

Hi Bagadi,

These were added on the HS due to the fact that every signal coming through the isolator is referenced to the noisy SW node. The filter is added for practical purposes due to this consideration.

The heatsink part number is S05MZZ12-A. It is from Alpha Novatech.
