My customer is using an EVM that has a parallel RGB interface 5-6-5 (16-bit RGB). The display is LVDS 24-bpp, Format 1 (MSB on Y3). (1) Since the datasheet only shows 24-b and 18-b examples, is this 16-b combination acceptable? (2) Is it okay to leave Y3 connected - will the display get any invalid data that way?
