TPS66020: TPS66020 source path current limit settings

Hi, 

I have a question regarding the source path current limit settings of TPS66020. For our application, we would like to limit our source current to 1A. Is there a way to adjust the current limit via the external resistor on the IREF pin? If yes, can you suggest what resistor value we should use?

    Hi Jeff,

    TPS66020 incorporates only two options to limit the current on the source path. It's either 1.5A and 3A and the table below from the data sheet highlights the different configuration applied to EN0 and EN1 to choose either one. Based on the typical voltage listed on the data sheet (second image below) and the recommended 75K resistor required on the IREF pin feel free to try different values at your own risk,  we can not recommended any since our characterization data and  data sheet parameters are based on the 1.5A and 3A plus 75Kohms.
