Hi there,

I am urgently need to confirm about the package of DS26F31MQML CFP16 we bought on TI store, which has been found different with MECHANICAL DATA NAD0016A drawing.

Our QC detected that the leads of both side outmost were bents ( pins # 1,8,9,16 ) instead of straight straight we have them previous inventory use.

Could any TI expert to confirm this kind of issue was meet TI production stander ? Our production line urgent needs an evaluation file to put in parts use.

Jessie,

Thank you very much for your patience on this. The curve seen is the result of the body of the IC having incorrect dimensions and is something that was addressed in May and implemented in June. Any devices purchased after June will have the corrected frame that will match older material.

The material the customer has with the curved leads will still function correctly, but it was addressed and resembles the mechanical information the datasheet shows with the straight leads.
