DP83822I: Delay time from removing cable to High->Low on LED_0

Hi,

I have one question.   Could you please let us know how to recognize Link-down?   My understanding is "when DP83822I does not received NLP/FLP pulse periodically, DP83822I recognize Link-down".  Is it correct?  Please let us know.

If Symbol Error is occurred, is it possible for DP83822I to set 0 on BMSR Bit2 (Link status -> DOWN?   Please advise us.

• Symbol error does not indicate that link is down. Hence link status bit can't be assume to be 0.Symbol errors may indicate that link quality is poor (if far end device is not generating symbol with errors at its end)
• When link is down there will be no symbols received and hence there will be no symbol errors.
