I was wondering what the maximum input capacitance is? I cant seem to find it in the datasheet.

    Which pins are you interested in, A/B? Are there any concerns in the application?

    Hi,

    Yes im interested in A/B. We want to protect our main SPI bus from failures that could occur on individual boards. We want to put a series resistor on each input in case of short to ground on one of the inputs. Therefore i need to know the input capacitance so that i don't disturb the communication with the RC filter we are creating.

    Thanks for your explanation. Unfortunately there is no such characterization data available. Generally speaking, the capacitance should be in the ball park of 100pF. Given the data rate (50Mbps), the RC filter rolloff may not be a big issue. If you do terminate the bus, the signal attenuation of the series resistor needs to be considered too.
