Hi Experts, 

Our customer see 2 different die topologies in 2 different batches of SN65176DBR, namely:

a. DC: Year 2020 WK 20  Rev F  COO: MEXICO

b. DC: Year 2020 WK 02 Rev A  COO: MEXICO

1. Are these 2 valid die topologies for SN65176DBR?

2. Are there any functionality and spec differences b/w these 2 die set?

3. Please share a PCN.

    Shawn,

    If you email me directly at e-hackett@ti.com I can share PCN information with you. This device went through a fabrication site change, and opened additional assembly sites, among other things but that happened in August of this year, so I'm not sure it applies to the customer's devices.

    Both die topologies are valid, otherwise we would not be able to call them the same device name. In order to be able to change die, assembly, fabrication, etc. we must verify that all datasheet parameters match, and if they don't we must update the datasheet. So, the devices you have both adhere to the latest datasheet for this device.

    Since we'll be handling more information through email, I'll be closing this thread.
