Adding I2S I/O for MCU without I2S

Hello, Team,

Customer is looking for an interface IC which can convert I2S to common i/o used for MCU/SoC such as GPIO/I2C/SPI etc.

Could you please tell us if there is an IC which can meet above request?

There is only one common I/O for audio signals, and it is I²S. I am not aware of any such IC.

It might be possible to use an MCU that supports I²S and program it to ouput SPI, but then it would be a better idea to use an MCU with I²S support to begin with.
