Yes， My laptop using 983B.System version is Win10 build 19043.1288.

USB_ TP、USB_ BP and sub signals, TI's function is only to achieve a transfer (MUX) action. In fact, the last connection point is PCH and TBT IC.At present, the design method of QC is USB_ TP、USB_ BP receives PCH and sub receives TBT IC Titan ridge.

Can you clarify what not recognized means? Is there no TBT connection? No USB EP enumeration?

If possible could you provide PD logs between each device and the laptop? Some other information that may help if possible is a digital capture (ideally with a Saleae) of the CC, VBUS, and maybe the I2C?

IPad air4, iPad pro5 and iPad mini6 use usb-c to usb-c data cable, and the laptop is connected with iPad to only realize charging function. The laptop cannot detect the iPad or transfer data.

The laptop is probably providing a default VBUS contract after failing to negotiate a contract with the other devices. Without any PD logs, we cannot properly determine this issue. To further help you with this issue we would need the PD logs between the laptop and the devices.

Thank you for the PD logs. They do help a bit. It looks like in one of the iPad mini6 captures, one of the CC lines is not toggling as a DRP as expected before connection. Maybe this could be part of the issue?

It looks like the contract negotiation defaults and VBUS is set to Safe5V. The next step would be to get a decoded PD logs using something like a TotalPhase PD Analyzer.

Saleae is not the best for CC decoding. But you might be able to use it by either by following the Saleae guide here:

Or using a 3rd party open-source PD protocol analyzer (Try searching for 'Saleae USB PD Analyzer') from github or other sources?

Again though, the ipad6 mini CC lines look like they are having a physical issue with the initial PD logs sent.

I can take a look... But I am not saying the schematic is at fault. I am saying it looks like the hardware is damaged.

Try connecting a different iPad Air 4th gen or iPad Pro 5th gen.

Try connecting multiple different iPad Air 4th and or iPad Pro 5th,the problem still exists and same.Can you provide suggestions for analysis and testing?

Try changing the laptop you are using to connect? Another option could be using an TPS65983 EVM to connect the devices?

From the logs sent on Dec. 1, 2021, I can see the PD on both sides are communicating and negotiating a contract. There are numerous packets that fail to be sent by the sink device. Those packets failing shows that there is something wrong with the end equipment (Either laptop, iPads, or cable) used in your tests. The best option right now is to test this on a TPS65983 EVM.

I have just learned that there are no TPS65983 EVM sold by TI anymore. There are a few floating around our labs here so please send me the project file used in the TPS65983 device? I can begin trying to test it on an EVM

“Not the USB-C PD traffic.”  ---Does I2C have two sets of signals? One group communicates with Titan Riddge and the other group communicates with EC/PCH, which group do you need? Or something else?

In both of these examples, there are no I2C transactions happening. Is it possible to show the I2C reads to the 0x6E, 0x5F, and 0x28 registers?
