Hi Experts,
My customer is asking about VID(Differential Input voltage) spec for LVDS receiver. VID is specified as 1.0V max(abs max) and 0.6V max(recommended).
Looking at the receiver test condition, it uses 0.8V VID signal.
Q1. Why is 0.8V VID which is higher than recommendation used for the test?
Q2. If VID violates the spec 0.6V, what kind of failure occur?
