Hi Team,

Customer reported when installed DS250DF410EVM GUI and updater.exe, when pugged in EVM, it shows unknown USB device.

Just wondering, anything else needs to be installed?

Hi Andrew,

Typically the procedure you described is sufficient to get up and running.

As an experiment, could you try installing and opening the USB2ANY Explorer Software (linked below). If you are prompted to update the device when the software is opened, please do so.

Customer tried and as below pic shown, it doesn't work too...

Anything else they may try.

I can apply DPS-DONGLE-EVM for customer, will it help?

I see you opened another thread related to this part. Were you able to resolve this USB2ANY issue, or is the other thread unrelated?

You should be able to use the DPS-DONGLE-EVM.

So far EVM connection still has problem, but customer has their own PCB with DS250DF410, I think DPS-DONGLE-EVM can be a work-around for them.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the clarification. Yes an external DPS-DONGLE or USB2ANY should solve the issue. The customer will need to remove jumpers from J24 in order to ensure that the onboard USB2ANY does not interfere with I2C communication.
