Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24392
I was trying to evaluate the CDP charger detect functionality in BQ24392. I have connected J2 to the PlayStation 5 which supports CDP charging and J1 to a board which has a IC that supports USB communication and inbuild battery charger.
Probed below lines in scope
Channel 1 -VBUS
channel 2 - D+
channel 3 - D-
channel 4 - CHG_DET
I can see that Data Contact Detect happens and CHG_DET goes high indicating charger is detected. But I don't see CDP charging detection waveform pulse. Is there something i am missing?
