SN65LVDS1: overshot of differential output

Hello there,

I use the SN65LVDS1 as the clock buffer to replace FIN1001M5X.

as i tested, the differential output signal has a 60mV overshot like shown in the image below. i have attached the schematic, please help me to understand the root cause of the overshot and how can i estimate it.

normally overshoot happend on rising edge, let me check with design and let you know soon.

Does the characteristic impedance matter?

the datasheet says this devices drives 100 ohms characteristic impedance and 100 ohms termination resistor.

however, in this schematic, there is no termination resistor, only ac coupling cap there.

over shoot happened on all transition bits, it could caused by impedance mismatch. This device is best used with 100 ohm termination or load.

one more question, did you see overshoot on the input siganl?
