SN65HVD230Q: Running at half baud rate

My rapid prototype was a ESP32 development board and VP230 module I purchased off Amazon that works correctly (pictured on left). Everything works correctly on my board (pictured on right) except the speed is half. 1000k baud runs at 500k baud, 500k baud runs at 250k baud, etc.

I am using the SN65HVD230Q purchased from LCSC.com. Here is my schematic:

I am using the public esp32_can library and a library software bug is not ruled out but is there anything in hardware that I should consider or debug that might be causing this issue?

This transceiver works at the electrical level; the bus state follows the voltage at the D pin. The problem must be somewhere with the ESP.

Brandon,

Clemens is correct - this is purely a passive device, it does not have any integrated data processing. Am I understanding correctly that the half-baud operation is the problem? Or are you asking if operating at half baud is an issue for the SN65HVD230Q? For the latter, this is no issue. But for the former, unfortunately the transceiver would not be the cause of this clock-halving.... It would be software-related.
