TUSB9261: Windows driver update

Could you share the version of windows you are using? Have you tried installing the flashburner with admin rights?

Hi, I am using windows 10 enterprise, and yes I am running flashburner as administrator.

Can you share the setupapi.dev.log file found in your "C:\Windows\INF" directory? You can share the latest entire related to the TUSB9261 driver installation or teh whole file.

Hi Malik, did you get a chance to look at this? There is a possibility that there are SI issues on my design due to incorrect impedance calculations, however as the PC recognises the device name it is able to communicate.

The log did not any clues here and everything is working well on my side. In the steps of the users guide on page 31 instead of selecting the driver automatically can you select the driver from the install directory? (ex. C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments Inc\TUSB926x_Burner)

I have checked and the VID and PID seem to match those in wdfapldr.inf

Did you select the option below then select "have disk"?

Okay, would you mind trying one other method? With your board disconnected can you go to the .inf in teh install directory and right-click to install. Does this give the same result. Unfortunately, I do not have a windows 10 enterprise OS to test. 

I tried doing this and windows reported that the driver had been installed successfully. I still don't seem to be able to get windows to link it to the device in the device manager unfortunately.

Could you try completely uninstalling the flashburner then re install with admin privilege's?. 

Hi Malik, I have tried this and it didn't make any difference.

This is tricky as we are not seeing this issue on our side. DO you happen to have another Windows platform to try on? I can help provide a complete FW image to program teh SPI flash with an external SPI master. 

Unfortunately I can't access any computers that aren't windows 10. 

I'm not sure how feasible programming the flash directly would be on the board I have designed, they are connected directly to the TUSB9261. I do have access to the device JTAG port if that is any use.

On a side note, I have connected the GPIO outputs to LEDs, copying the configuration on the demo board. They are all dimly lit (presumably off). The software heartbeat and High Speed connect LEDs are not flashing, which I might expect. Although if the device is not programmed with firmware this might explain it.

I would expect the LED to not be driven if the SPI flash is empty. Unfortunately JTAG cannot be used to program the SPI flash. Can you try disabling code signing enforcement?
