TUSB320LI: IIC communication failure

Dear,

I have got a problem on IIC, please help.

1. IIC communication is available for TUSB320 and BQ25890 when not inserted TYPE C.
2. IIC communication is unavailable for TUSB320 and BQ25890 when inserted TYPE C through notebook or others.

And noted:
1. Need to re-power and that communication will be OK.
2. Register is default.
3. Charge battery normally at 12V.

for DFP or DRP, a Vbus switch is needed to control Vbus.

I wonder what causes the failure on IIC?

And what reason that switch is needed, because BQ25890 already has built-in switch?

When CC detected UFP , ID goes low then turn on Vbus . so did you use ID to turn on Vbus switch in BQ25890?

yes, use ID to control enable pin of switch for DRP or DFP mode
