Hi,

I'm looking to design with the TUSB2551A  but have a question: -

1)   Can I safely and for extended periods, power VCC(io) with no power on VCC(5.0) or Vreg(3.3) pins?

I.e. I'd like to power the IO from a local rail, but the rest of the device from the bus. This would ensure that the pull-up resistor is only connected when Vbus is present (as per the USB spec) without me needing knowledge of the powered state of the bus.
