Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA9511A,
Hi,
The TCA4307 and TCA9511A have very similar specs, and as far as I can see are pin-to-pin electrically compatible (contrary to website).
The only difference I can see is that the TCA4307 has the stuck bus recovery functionality.
Do you have any guidance for choosing between the two?
- e.g. Is one a more recent part? They both appear quite recent.
- would you always recommend the TCA4307 because it has stuck bus recovery - are there some situations in which stuck bus recovery is undesireable?
- TCA9511A is currently at a lower list price on your website
