Hi Team,
Some of the ports on TUSB2077A will not be used (ports 6 and 7) and therefore the overcurrent pins are not used. How should PWRON and OVRCUR for the respective ports be connected if they aren't used (pins 32,33,36,37)?
Thank you,
TR

For added clarity the ports 6 and 7 are connected to another TUSB2077A for daisy chain implementation.
Hi,
The OVRCUR can be tied to a pull-up 1.5k resistor. The PWRON can be left unconnected.
Thanks
David
Thanks, David. The PWRON pin is either left unconnected or used to control a small PFET to turn on 3.3V power to dedicated low power device on board. Is there any issue with this use?
Hi,
As long as the electrical spec is met, then I do not see this as an issue.
Thanks
David
