we're looking for a protection for type-C PD3.1 28V,

is TPD8S300 the right solution? or is there other more suitable?

HI Fred,

Are you specifically looking for protection device that can protect up to 28V? The TPD8S300(A) only has an absolute maximum (for CC and SBU protection) of up to 24V.
