DP83826E: Voltage mode or Current mode Ethernet PHY

Part Number: DP83826E

Hi all

Would you mind if we ask document slyp788(which is relation to etherphy DP83826)?
https://www.ti.com/seclit/ml/slyp788/slyp788.pdf

On the document P5 to P6, it shows the description voltage mode or current mode Ethernet PHY.

<Question1>
The description : "To generate a symbol either a -1V or a +1V signal is needed"
These -1V or +1V means Differential Output Voltage in case of 100Base-TX?

<Question1>
The description : "To generate a 1V signal : 2 x 1V/50 Ω = 40mA per data pair"
About this "2 x 1V", could you let us know it meaning?

Kind regards,

Hirotaka Matsumoto
