Does the TCA9617A support live insertion and removal?

    K. Hirano,

    My same answer applies to this as the PCA9306 question you asked earlier. The TCA9617A does not include smart hotswap/insertion logic like TCA9511A/4307. You can design the device to support hot swap by utilizing the presence detect signal from the card to enable the TCA9617A after a short time delay using an RC circuit.
