DS110DF111: Possible to use use with 2.5G SFP dongles?

Dear Team,

Is it possible to use DS110DF111 with 2.5G SFP dongles?

Host interface can be programmed to be 2.5G SGMII.

I read on datasheet that DS110 supports 1G and 10G rates and some intermediate rates with register programming.

Is 2.5G SGMII rate supported??

Hi Daniel,

Yes DS110DF111 can be used with 2.5G SFP dongles. 2.5G data rate with NRZ signaling is supported by the retimer.

Hi Daniel,

If you are using a data rate of 2.5GBd, then you will need to write channel register 0x2F with a value of 0x26 to set this data rate. Let me know if you are using a different data rate and I can help you with the necessary register writes.
