DS90UB941AS-Q1: Power up rise time

Hi Team,

In 941 datasheet, VDD18 rise time should be longer than 0.2ms, may I know the reason? What's the potential risk when my power rise time is 0.1ms? Thanks!

Hello Jianjun,
It is recommended to keep the power rail ramp times within the datasheet specifications since that is what the device has been validated for in order to guarantee functionality. We do not have data that supports functionality below this spec. It is recommended to increase rise time to within datasheet limits if possible (through soft-start or additional capacitance).
