DS100KR401: Observation Bit

Part Number: DS100KR401
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS100KR800, DS125BR401

Looking at the register set, each channel has (3) status or observation bits, but I can’t find a description of these bits.  Can you please provide an explanation of these bits?

  • Hi Joey,

I would consider these reserved on DS100KR401 and would ignore these.

Looking at DS100KR800, these are marked as reserved.

I think the description of these bits originated from a similar device such as DS125BR401.  Note on this device, these bits are used for observation of PCIe status.  Since DS100KR401 does not have PCIe specific functionality, these bits can be ignored.

    Thanks,

    Drew
