I understand the SN65DSI84 and SN65DSI83 share the same EVM for having the same pinout, however the EVM features a BGA package that is fairly difficult to rework. What is your recommendation for evaluating the SN65DSI84-Q1?

Hi Lenio,

You can utilize the SN65DSI85EVM for evaluation of the DSI84, linked here: https://www.ti.com/tool/SN65DSI85EVM. The DSI85 can be configured to only have one MIPI DSI input lane and two LVDS output lanes, so it will behave exactly as the DSI84.
