Hi Experts,

Customer wants to use either of the following in a matched impedance context. What is the impedance of these devices?

HD3SS3411IRWAR

We are looking to have an impedance around 20 ohms. Is there a device that would work for this?

Which device are you comparing to HD3SS4311? Can you please clarify? What specifications are required for the mux?

Thank you, Stanton.

Our main question is about the differential nature of the signal going into the chip. Is it possible to use the chip for two separate but identical analog signals? what I would want to do is connect the Ps and Ns to have what I believe would be a low impedance, single ended switch (I require a ≈20-25 ohm switch with a 4GHz bandwidth). Would that be possible?

Hi Archie,

The positive and negative terminals of data pins A[0/1] have a weak (20 kΩ) differential resistor for device switch regulation operation. This does not impact signal integrity or functionality of high speed differential signaling that typically has much stronger differential impedance (such as 40-100 Ω).

I also wanted to mentioned that TI has released newer devices with improved function. I would recommend using TMUXHS4412.
