Hi team,
Customer want to use 954 in different cameras with different data rate or frames.
Is there any register to distinguish the camera by detecting the input datarate or timing etc.?

Hi Haury,
From your question, I understand that multiple camera streams are input into the 954 and the customer is looking at how to identify which camera is which in the 954 CSI-2 output. A common way to distinguish cameras from the RX port they are received at is VC ID. Four virtual channels can be identified by the DS90UB954. The VC IDs can be assigned in CSI_VC_MAP (0x72) which is a port specific register. This will enable each camera to have a separate VC ID to identify it. More information on this is in Section 7.4.20 CSI-2 Input Mode Virtual Channel Mapping of the datasheet.
Please let me know if there is a specific need for the identification to be timing based and I will be happy to help further.
Best,
Zoe
