The TUSB8040 is designed for operation over the industrial temperature range of –40°C to 85°C according to the product description:
http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/tusb8040.html
The TUSB8040 is designed for operation over the industrial temperature range of –40°C to 85°C according to the product data manual:
USB 3.0 Four Port Hub (Rev. C) (PDF 294 KB) 10 Feb 2011 (page 5 of 27)
It's strange that according to the parametrics, and samples that it's rated for only 0 to 70 C. I don't see anything in the errata that describes this inconsistency.
Rob / Jason,
Yes, the plan is to release the industrial temp support by the end of the year.
Initial release was done with support for commercial temp only. The device was fully design margined for industrial temp range support.
